Ras Tafari World, established in 2025, is the realization of a vision two decades in the making.

This organization, headquartered in Takoradi, Ghana, was founded to promote Rasta products and services globally. With an extensive network spanning the Caribbean and the Americas, Ras Tafari World serves as a hub for Rastafarian commerce and culture.

The roots of Rastafari trace back to 1930s Jamaica, inspired by the coronation of Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia. His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, born Ras Tafari Makonnen, is revered by us Rastafarians as the Black Messiah and the embodiment of Jah (God) on Earth.

Rastafarians know that Selassie's ascension to the throne fulfilled a prophecy of Marcus Garvey, who proclaimed, "Look to Africa where a black king shall be crowned, he shall be your Redeemer".

Followers of Rastafari, known as Rastas, view Haile Selassie as a divine figure who will lead the repatriation of African descendants to their homeland and bring about the end of their oppression. This belief in repatriation to Africa, particularly Ethiopia, remains a central tenet of Rastafari philosophy.

Ras Tafari World embodies the spirit of this movement, promoting Rastafarian culture, products, and services while fostering connections among Rasta communities worldwide. By establishing its headquarters in Ghana, the organization symbolically bridges the gap between the Caribbean birthplace of Rastafari and the African continent that holds such spiritual significance for its followers.

About InI

Our Cultural Mission Rastafari World exists to unite the global Rastafari community through three interwoven pillars:

1. Sustainable Wealth Creation

  • Building economic independence through ethical trade, agriculture, and communal resource-sharing

  • Promoting Rasta-owned businesses and African/Caribbean trade partnerships

  • Developing renewable energy initiatives aligned with Ital living principles

2. Knowledge & Spiritual Exchange

  • Hosting global gatherings for theological dialogue across Rastafari mansions

  • Digitizing oral histories and sacred texts to preserve Nyahbinghi traditions

  • Operating learning centers for herbal medicine, drumming, and Amharic studies

3. Pan-African Unity Beyond Borders

We actively bridge divisions between:

Historical Challenges

  • House-based separations (Bobo Shanti vs. Nyahbinghi)

    • Cross-mansion cultural exchanges

  • Regional fragmentation (Caribbean vs. African Rastas)

    • Pan-African trade networks

  • Generational divides

    • Youth mentorship programs

By honoring Haile Selassie I's vision of African unity, we're creating a global Rastafari ecosystem where "Red Up," "Green Up," and all mansions collaborate on:

  • Collective land stewardship projects

  • International Rasta certification standards

  • Crisis response networks for persecuted brethren

This mission channels Marcus Garvey's "One God, One Aim, One Destiny" into 21st-century collective empowerment.
